Description
Letter from Sterling Morton to C. E. Godshalk saying he is delaying his visit to the Arboretum until Godshalk's return. He wants to make a careful inspection of the new building and enjoy the fall color. He hears everything went off smoothly. He believes it may have been best he wasn't there, as it gave his daughter a chance to shine and perhaps increase her interest in the Arboretum. He asked for the married name of Mrs. Wilbur. In a handwritten note, Morton says that Howard F. has an excellent plan for highway beautification, doing away with the hazards that concern Godshalk.
