Letter from E. L. Kammerer in response to Mrs. Weitz recommending Amelanchier canadensis (Common Shadblow) [Canadian Serviceberry], A. laevis (Allegheny Shadblow) [Allegheny Serviceberry], and A. grandiflora (Apple Shadblow) [Apple Serviceberry] and lists nurseries to order from. Mr. Kammerer also writes that the DDT spray meant to protect against Dutch Elm Disease is s standard treatment and should work well.
