Letter from C. E. Godshalk to Joy Morton stating that the men have been working in the woods due to the snowy weather. They have also begun working on their exhibit for the garden show at Municipal Pier. It is a naturalistic scene which he describes in detail. People who have seen it seem to like the exhibit. The Arboretum will also display labelled evergreens with their uses, general information on the Arboretum, photos, and several of the Arboretum's bulletins on a large bulletin board at the show. The Lacey deal finally closed, so they will start cutting up the dead trees and move the fence. They will also start clearing the space for the road. The soil is too saturated to plant, but he hopes they can start some planting later this week.
