Arisaema triphyllum (L.) Schott (Jack-in-the-pulpit), ground level view of a single stalk of  jack in the pulpit emerging from the forest floor. The dark leaves are beginning to unfurl, and the spadix (flower part) can be seen just peeking out from under the hood of the spathe (pulpit).
