Handwritten letter from Sterling Morton apologizing for not attending the Christmas Party. He also heard that "Suzie'" did not attend. He describes his DC-7 flight to LAX, and seeing little snow on the ground. He liked the 75 degree weather when he landed. There was a breeze, so no smog. They took another flight up to Santa Barbara. He saw a [? Smoke tree] mentioned in the August Bulletin. He asks Godshalk to find him one to be planted at the end of his [Lake Forest] driveway. He assumes that the weather was too bad for Godshalk to go to Wisconsin for the holidays.
