This digitized issue of the Spring 1992 Branches Newsletter contains articles on the following: Fischer Field, its origins and development as a test plot area for hybrid trees; the Outpost Wildflower Garden maintained by a volunteer group identified as VIEW (Volunteers in Education Work) and later  WISH (Workers in Sylvan Horticulture); and START (Students Teamed in Arboretum Restoration Tasks) a volunteer group formed for high school students interested in working in restoration at the Arboretum.
