This digitized issue of the Summer 1992 Branches Newsletter contains articles on the following: Hatch Meadow and the transplanting project of Green Ash trees; and two Arboretum authors, Ian MacPhail and Charles Lewis and their books, Rearranging the World and Green Nature/Human Nature. The first book is a study of the work of the scientists at New Harmony, Indiana; Charles-Alexander Lesueur, Thomas Say, Andre Michaux and Francois Andre Michaux and the second is about the relationship between people and nature. Volunteer opportunities, lists of new and continuing volunteers, trainings, classes and events are also included.
