Letter regarding a competition for club members of the Lake Forest Garden Club, suggested by Mrs. Joseph Cudahy. It is for the design of the road side planting at The Morton Arboretum. A request is made for a  list of the material available and suitable, a sketch or blueprint of the area, the  trees in the  background and slopes, width or depressions in the area to be planted. She also suggests coming to see the area if it is advisable.
