Digitalis purpurea, flower. Digitalis purpurea (foxglove, purple foxglove, fairy glove) has a tall stalk with tubular, bell-shaped flowers with four lobes. The flowers are  pink, white, or purple and usually have a spotted throat. Digitalis purpurea is invasive in parts of the United States.
