Eremurus stenophyllus (desert candle, foxtail lily) has upright spires of fragrant, small, primrose yellow flowers. The flower spire resembles a tall fox tail or giant candle and reaches twenty-four to thirty-six inches tall. Each flower has six, showy, yellow tepals and stamens.
