DescriptionThe graceful, arching limbs and serrated leaf edge of the elm inspired the design of the GRACEFUL bench, located in the elm (Ulmus) collection at The Morton Arboretum. The bench’s corten base with arching supports mimic the elm's branch structure, while the wood back and seat--cut at varying lengths and assembled at right angles--evoke a folded leaf with a serrated edge.
