Catalpa speciosa Warder (northern catalpa), image shows closeup of white flowers along with large green leaves, flowers are perfect corolla white 2" long and wide bell-shaped tube with lobes spreading and frilled at the margin, lower lobe has yellow spots and ridges like C. bignonioides but less freely spotted with purple borne in large upright terminal panicles 4-8" long in May to June
