Phacelia purshii Buckley (Miami mist), annual 8-16" tall with weak stems and branches, lower leaves are stalked pinnately compound, upper leaves are sessile and clasping pinnately 3-11 lobed to 1.5 inch long, inflorescence is a one-sided cyme with 10-30 bowl-shaped bluish or pale lavender flowers with a white center 0.2-0.5 inch wide lobes deeply fringed, stem and inflorescence are pubescent with appressed hairs
