Lamium purpureum L. (purple deadnettle), weedy wildflower, image shows pinkish-purple flowers, weak annual 4-16" tall usually branched at the base, leaves with blades are 0.3-1.2" long stalked heart-shaped progressively reduced in size upward, upper leaves are crowded overlapping and angled downward, flowers are pinkish-purple 0.4-0.6" long arising in whorls from the upper leaf axils, this is a weed of open fields and lawns
