Malva sylvestris 'Zebrina' (Zebra Mallow), striking upright 2' x 2' bushy biennial or short-lived woody perennial with rounded to heart-shaped lobed dark green leaves and from summer into autumn open funnel-shaped lavender flowers with prominent dark purple centers, featuring bold spikes of lavender round flowers with purple stripes rising 1' above the foliage from mid summer to mid fall. flowers are excellent for cutting, the crinkled round leaves remain green in color throughout the season
