Tilia mongolica Maxim. (Mongolian linden), slow-growing, medium-sized deciduous tree to 50' tall with a rounded habit, leaves up to 3" long and held on long stalks are glossy coarsely-toothed or 3-5 lobed and turn from green to yellow in autumn, clusters of fragrant yellowish-white flowers are borne in summer, bark becomes fissured with age
