Picea pungens ‘Fat Albert’ (Fat Albert blue spruce), leaves are spread more or less all around the stem but more crowdwd above than below stout rigid incurved and very prickly 0.75 to 1.25" long varying in color on different trees dull green to bluish (eg. Fat Albert) or silvery white 4-sided with 6 stomatic lines on each side
