Platanus x acerifolia (Ait.) Willd. (London planetree), leaves are alternate simple 6-7" long by 8-10" wide 3-lobed to 5-lobed with triangular-ovate or broad triangular not or sparingly toothed lobes with acute or rounded sinuses extending 1/3 the length of the blade truncate to cordate at the base glabrous or nearly so at maturity medium to dark green, petiole is 2-4" long
