Phlox paniculata ‘Blue Paradise’ (Blue Paradise garden phlox), garden perennial, 'Blue Paradise' was introduced by Dutch nurseryman Piet Oudolf in 1990, spicy vanilla-clove scented, flowers are 1.5"  wide and responding to differing light conditions open violet blue at dawn develops a purple hue during the day and changes back to violet blue at dusk, measures 2-3' tall and 1-2' wide, this cultivar has good powdery mildew resistance
