Crataegus viridis ‘Winter King’ (Winter King green hawthorn), shrubby tree, rounded sharply thorny spreading dense growing 20-35' high and wide, 'Winter King' is a selection with an almost vase-shaped branching structure and distinct gray-green bloomy stems, fruits are larger (1/2") than the species and a good red persisting into winter, popular landscape tree
