Malus coronaria (L.) Mill. (wild sweet crabapple), tree 20-30' high with a short squatty trunk and a wide-spreading head of gray branches, fruit is yellowish green 1-1.5" diameter orange-shaped very harsh and acid, flowers are single white tinged with rose fragrant like violets 1.5-2" diameter pink in bud, essentially this is the last crabapple to bloom
