Physocarpus opulifolius ‘Nugget’ (Nugget common ninebark), leaves are alternate simple roundish ovate 1-3" long and wide usually 3-5 lobed sometimes slightly so or not at all with crenate-dentate obtuse or acutish lobes cordate at base medium green glabrous or nearly so beneath, petiole is 0.25-0.75" long, color is varied emerging deep golden yellow then maturing to lime green and finally turning yellow in fall
