Acer japonicum ‘Aconitifolium’ (Fern-leaved fullmoon maple), leaves are opposite simple roundish 3-6" across, lobes extend to 1/2 or 1/4" of the end of the petiole each lobe (9-11) being again divided and sharply toothed, magnificent crimson fall color, fruit is 1" long and wings range from nearly horizontal to forming an obtuse angle
