Taxus x media ‘Ershzam’ (Erie Shores™ Anglo-Japanese yew), habit is broad pyramidal medium-sized to large shrub of spreading habit often with a central leader, difficult to ascertain exact habit and size since they are all hybrids and so the growth characteristics they exhibit are variable, leaves are short-stalked mostly not distinctly 2-ranked upright and irregularly V-shaped straight or slightly curved slightly leathery apex rather abruptly sharp-pointed 0.5-1.0" long by 0.08-0.12" wide dull to dark lustrous green above paler beneath with 2 yellowish green bands
