Godshalk has received Mark Morton's letter saying that Mr. E. G. Hammond telephoned Morton to say that Morton's farm had been sold. Godshalk concludes that Mr. Hammond probably confused the Morton farm with the Thomas farm on Route 53. The Thomas farm was in the process of being sold, but not the farm of Mark Morton.
