Letter from C. E. Godshalk to Mrs. Joy Morton stating he does not have time to draw her a sketch for her garden, but will enclose the data from his last year's Victory Garden. If she needs further information, he suggest "An Illinois Garden Guide" from the University of Illinois Extension. He recommends Dr. Burrill, a summer bearing strawberry variety, that she can obtain from the Kellogg Strawberry Farm at Three Rivers, Michigan. He goes on to suggest the University of Illinois' publication, "Growing Fruit for Home Use." Using this books he suggests varieties of plums, raspberries, and grapes for her garden. He suggests W. N. Scarff's Sons of New Carlisle, Ohio for obtaining fine fruit stock.
