Letter from C. E. Godshalk to Sterling Morton enclosing a letter from Mr. Tikalsky who is proposing a peony test garden at the Arboretum including 300 of the best varieties. Godshalk thinks it would be as attractive to visitors in June as the narcissus are in April. The peonies would take some maintenance, but Godshalk will see what can be done about establishing the garden if Morton approves. Godshalk is sorry Morton had the flu while he was in Chicago. He is also enclosing a couple of the many letters they receive stating appreciation for the work of the Arboretum.
