Letter from Robert Pyle (American Association of Nurserymen) stating he recommended Mrs. Cudahy to appointment on the Advisory Council of the National Arboretum, and the Secretary of Agriculture invited her to be a member of the Council. However, her acceptance has not come through. Pyle has written to Mrs. Cudahy urging her to accept the appointment, but he hesitates to write to her again about the matter. He wonders if it might be appropriate for Godshalk to approach her. Pyle would be happy to work at resolving any issues that prevent her acceptance of the appointment. Pyle believes it would benefit both Mrs. Cudahy and the Morton Arboretum.
