Copy of letter from Sterling Morton to F. I. Righter, Chief, Division of Forest Genetics Research, thanking him for asking Mr. Offord to call on Morton in Santa Barbara. Offord diagnosed some issues with Morton's trees, and they had a good discussion on tree growth and habits. Morton also thanks Righter for his invitation to visit the station; he hopes to do so in the summer. If Righter is in the Santa Barbara area, Morton would like to visit with him. He is pleased with the progress on the legal details for the acquisition of additional land for the station.
