Letter from C. E. Godshalk to Sterling Morton responding to his ideas about the control house. He believes Dr. Carleton would like the Arboretum to participate in a training program for gardeners, propagators, etc. Mrs. Watts suffered a slight stroke while teaching a class at the Arboretum. The doctor expects her to make an almost complete recovery, but she will have to do nothing for six weeks to a couple of months. Miss Turner and some of her best helpers are filling in. The contractors seem interested in getting fill from Lake Marmo, but they have other options. Plans for the European trip are progressing. He is enclosing a sketch of the AABGA exhibit. He hopes Mrs. Morton will soon be well.
