The first document is a note from Sister Mary Cyprian to the Board of Directors of the Morton Arboretum in appreciation of the Morton Arboretum and saying that the heirs have kept it up beautifully and made many improvements.
The second document is Sterling Morton's response to Sister Mary Cyprian thanking her for her note. He is pleased she feels his father's children have carried on as he would have wished them to do. He knows she must share his regret at the recent cases of vandalism at the Arborretum. They may have to establish control gates and strengthen their security patrols which may lead to an admission fee.
