Letter from Joy Morton to George T. Moore, thanking him for the visit to Missouri Botanical Garden and the dinner the previous night. He was distressed at the negative effect of the smoke from St. Louis has on the trees. He compared this with Kew Gardens and Arnold Arboretum. He blames it on St. Louis's greater use of soft coal. He commented on the speaker at the dinner, Ambassador Jusserand.
