Description:Letter from C. E. Godshalk to Sterling Morton enclosing a report by Mrs. Hinson who owns a specialized library service in Chicago. While they don't currently have enough work to have a trained librarian on staff, Mrs. Hinson surveyed the Arboretum's books, and she will offer advice on setting up the library. Mrs. Naser and Mr. Kammerer will do the actual work. He discusses the possible layout of the library. He is also sending Morton samples of Mr. Scott's work. Scott may be able to assist Kammerer at times. Scott will start work at the Arboretum May 1.

He asks if Mrs. Hinson's total charge of around $600 could be paid from Morton's chairman's fund. He will be going to Morton's place tomorrow to check on the plantings.
