Saturday, October 19, 1963
the walk inlcuded Wayne, Batavia, and Wheaton,
along the old Chicago, Aurora & Elgin right-of-way;
the tour also inlcuded a walk along the old Geneva
branch, abandoned in 1937; we (or at least I)
then stopped at Perry Lake in Glen Ellyn to watch
the excavation of a mastodon
the walk consisted of Arboretum class members
