In the future, though, he suggests that the big bus was too slow to load and unload. When the Commercial Club visits, he suggest either a smaller Arboretum bus, or a convoy of "open cars" to take people around.

Description:Letter from Sterling Morton to C. E. Godshalk saying the Newcomen Society, American Branch is meeting in Chicago this year, and Mr. Ralph Budd, President of the Burlington, would like to bring the attendees to the Arboretum. He offers a tentative schedule and requests either Godshalk or Kammerer lecture on the forest plots at the Arboretum, then lead a tour of the Arboretum. He also requests that the bulletin issue that covered the forest plots be sent to several people. He ends by stressing these visitors are men of substantial importance.
