Letter asking about a plant from the 1949 Felix Gillet Nursery (Nevada City, CA) catalog that they had received - Box Elder, variegated, White Leaf Box Elder. Asks if it is the same plant as an entry from Bailey's S. C. of H. (Var. argento - variegatum Bonamy). Asks if they have this plant at the Morton Arboretum, if it is hardy, and if so if they might send some cuttings.
Handwritten notes from E. L. Kammerer indicate both listings are in fact the same variety, that the Morton Arboretum does not have it in their collection.
