Rhododendron ‘Yaku Prince’ (Yaku Prince rhododendron), image shows closeup of pink flowers, flowers are tubular funnel-shaped wavy lobes 2.5" across opens purplish-pink and ages to a lighter pink with pale purplish-pink blotch and dark reddish-orange spotting, ball-shaped truss of 14 flowers not fragrant blooms in late midseason, leaves are narrowly elliptic to elliptic apiculate apex cuneate base 5" long olive-green with moderately heavy dark orange-yellow indumentum retained 3 years, habit is upright rounded well-branched, height 3' in 10 years
